EUGENE, Ore. – Starting tomorrow, travelers will be able to fly nonstop from Eugene to the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
American Airlines will be offering the flights daily. They will feature two-class service on an Embraer 175 jet aircraft. Mainline service on an Airbus A319 aircraft will start June 6, airport officials said Wednesday.

COVID-19 has created big challenges for the aviation industry, airport officials said. Due to the pandemic, passenger levels during the 2020 holiday season were at about 54% of 2019 levels.
“As customers in Eugene look forward to taking to the skies this year, we want to provide more choices by adding service to our largest hub, Dallas-Fort Worth,” said Brian Znotins, American’s Vice President of Network and Schedule Planning. “We are excited to offer this new daily flight which will provide optimal connections, while also complementing existing service from Phoenix.”
