ROSEBURG, Ore. --- The Douglas Education Service District announced Sunday that an individual at Roseburg High School has tested positive for COVID-19.
Officials said individuals who need to quarantine have been contacted and are at home self-isolating and monitoring for symptoms.
In order to protect their privacy, this will be the only information released by the school and district about these individuals.
KEZI 9 News has learned that students who are in quarantine will transition temporarily to remote learning.
Roseburg High School varsity, junior varsity and freshmen football practices and games have been canceled for the week of March 1 as a result.
The freshmen game scheduled for Thursday and the varsity Eagle Point game scheduled for Friday are canceled.
RHS will resume regular football activities on Monday, March 8.
