MYRTLE POINT, Ore. – A woman is facing a harassment charge after the Coos County Sheriff's Office said she punched a man in the face because he left her dog in the rain.
Deputies said the incident happened on New Year’s Eve just after 6 p.m. when the victim reported that Melissa Morris, 38, had punched him twice.
The victim had a marble-sized welt on his face and a scratch mark, deputies said.
According to deputies, the victim said he was talking to Morris when she punched him.
After investigating deputies arrested Morris, and she is scheduled to be in court Friday.
