EUGENE, Ore. -- If you drive an electric vehicle, you will soon have more charging options in Coos Bay and Roseburg.

Nearly 20 new ports are going in thanks to a grant from Pacific Power.

State agencies hope to have 50,000 electric vehicles on the roads by 2020. The goal of the grant program is to help businesses, non-profits and local governments meet their sustainable energy goals while powering the future of electric transportation.

The city of Roseburg will get eight new ports. White Oak Medical Clinic will get six.

In Coos Bay, two ports will go in at Farr True Value, and two more will go in at Bay Area Hospital.
