Myrtle Creek man injured in Halloween party shooting

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

MARION COUNTY, Ore. -- The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident at a Halloween party after a 26-year-old man from Myrtle Creek was injured.

Deputies arrived to the Halloween party in the 10000 block of Portland Road NE after reports of gunshots being fired came in around 3:20 a.m. Sunday.

After investigating they found out there was only one victim, the 26-year-old man from Myrtle Creek, and that the suspect was no longer in the area.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
