EUGENE, Ore.--- Eugene police say a 19-year-old man was taken to Riverbend Hospital after an alleged stabbing in the West 7th and Commercial Street area.
They say the man called 911 around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday while walking on West 11th Avenue.
Police conducted a search around the area and located the suspect. He's been identified as 39-year-old Kevin Steven Torres-Berning.
Torres-Berning had a warrant and was taken into custody. He was also charged with Assault in the Second Degree.
Springfield Fire EMS also responded to the scene and helped to transport the victim to Riverbend Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The victim's identify has not been identified yet.
