Detectives seek man in connection with Creswell shooting

CRESWELL, Ore. – The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Wesley Fredrick Roy Jr., 40, in connection with a shooting in Creswell.

A man was injured in the shooting, which happened Tuesday at 10:20 p.m. in the 81000 block of Davisson Road. The victim was taken by ambulance for medical attention and his condition is not known.

Detectives are looking for Roy, who is described as 5 foot 11 inches tall, weighing about 225 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. He is known to drive a 1993 white Audi A90 sedan. He frequents the south Lane County area and is also a suspect in multiple unrelated felony domestic violence cases.

Roy is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
