Man reportedly tries trading guitar for meth in Roseburg

Police arrested a man for allegedly trying to swap a stolen guitar for drugs.

ROSEBURG, Ore. -- A 20-year-old in Roseburg was busted on meth charges on Tuesday.

Detectives with the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team arrested Matthew Lay on the 1500 block of NE Stephens Street.

Officials said Lay was trying to trade a stolen high quality guitar for methamphetamine.

Lay was arrested on charges of unlawful possession and delivery of meth as well as a parole violation.
