CORVALLIS, Ore. – Two people were arrested following a fight outside a Corvallis Dari Mart on Thursday, Corvallis police said. One shot was fired during the incident.
Callers reported the fight just before 5:30 in the parking lot at 440 SW Western Boulevard.
Police said Corvallis residents Ricky Jones Jr., 38, and Alec Blaeser, 27, had a preexisting conflict with each other, police said. Jones allegedly accused Blaeser of following his wife.

Blaeser visited the Dari Mart on Thursday afternoon and was confronted by Jones as he walked back to his car, police said. Jones allegedly pushed Blaeser into his car through the open car door, and they fought.
Jones reportedly moved away from the car, and Blaeser pulled out a gun and fired once, police said. Jones went into the store and Blaeser followed, waving the gun around in the store.
Officers took both men into custody.
Blaeser suffered minor injuries. There were no known injuries from the shot that was fired, police said.
Jones faces charges of strangulation, fourth-degree assault and second-degree disorderly conduct. Blaeser faces two counts of pointing a firearm at another, as well as charges of unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, seven counts of reckless endangering, and second-degree disorderly conduct.
