EUGENE, Ore. -- Local companies are making extra money during the winter snow storm by plowing parking lots.
Employees with Graham Landscape & Design started plowing parking lots at 2:00 a.m. on Monday morning. By noon they had plowed six lots.
Donald Stevens said he feels good knowing he's helping other businesses fight off all the snow.
"I'm surprised a lot of businesses are closed," he said. "I think a lot of them don't have snow shovels or plows. Nobody was prepared for this."
Stevens said he was expecting to work a 12-hour day.
