Local church hosts community Christmas light show

"We just really feel the Christmas story is worth sharing," said show Director Cindy Kenny.

EUGENE, Ore. -- The 6th Annual Lights at New Hope kicks off this weekend.

It's a 10-minute light show that you get to watch from the comfort of your own car. There's complimentary hot chocolate, popcorn and cookies.

"We just really feel the Christmas story is worth sharing," said show Director Cindy Kenny. 

It's held at New Hope Eugene (1790 Charnelton St.) every Friday and Saturday night from now through mid-December. Kenny said it's free to attend.

Here's a full list of when the show is running:
- December 1st: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- December 2nd: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- December 8th: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- December 9th: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- December 15th: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- December 16th: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
