LEBANON, Ore. -- A man is facing sex abuse charges accused of having inappropriate contact with a teenage girl.

Police arrested Johne Michael Griffith Wednesday afternoon.

In October 2016, officers learned that Griffith, then 21, was having inappropriate contact with a then 16-year-old girl. Police said the two knew each other.

The Lebanon Police Department said they have had previous encounters with Griffith for harassment, welfare checks, and disorderly conduct.
