EUGENE, Ore. --- Around 2,400 people went to Autzen Stadium to receive doses of both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccine Saturday.
This is the second week in a row that the clinic was held at this location.
The Incident Commander for Lane County Public Health, Steve Adams, said his team has learned from the previous clinics and as a result, Saturday's event ran much smoother.
"There's always a few kinks to work out, so we had some issues with traffic coming in on the site, and getting people checked in," Adams said. "We've done some re-configurations but really and truly this site opened more easily than our last two sites," Adams said.
He also said this site would be the third and final vaccination clinic site added to the Eugene Springfield area.
