Lane County provides veterans with help at Stand Down event

All veterans as well as reservists, active duty personnel and their families are welcome to attend.

EUGENE, Ore. -- The Lane County Stand Down is an annual event to help local veterans and their families.

This year the event check-in started Friday at 6:30 a.m. with breakfast at 7:30 a.m.

It’s taking place at the Lane County fairgrounds, 796 W. 13th Ave. 

Along with free legal and financial aid, Veterans will also be able to get haircuts clothes, blankets, and hygiene products.

All veterans as well as reservists, active duty personnel and their families are welcome to attend.
