EUGENE, Ore. – Lane County Public Health reported seven new positive test results for coronavirus on Wednesday.
This brings the county total to 324 confirmed and presumptive cases since the start of the pandemic.
So far, three people are hospitalized, and 48 are considered to be infectious.
More than 30,000 tests have been conducted for county residents.
Those who had contact with the new cases will be contacted by public health.
Testing is being conducted today for frontline workers at the Lane Events Center parking lot, 796 W. 13th Ave., from 1 to 5 p.m.
Tomorrow, testing will be held in Cottage Grove at the Health Hub parking lot, 1133 E. Main St., from 4 to 7 p.m.
Then, on July 21, testing will be held in Lowell at the library parking lot at 70 N. Pioneer St. from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
Frontline workers are people whose jobs include interaction with the public and who have been working through the pandemic. The events are not for people being regularly tested as part of their work.
