Lane County adds 6 COVID-19 cases

Currently, 35 people are considered infectious.

EUGENE, Ore. – Lane County Public Health reported six new coronavirus cases on Tuesday.

This makes a total of 464 confirmed and presumptive cases since the start of the pandemic.

Of those, 35 are currently infectious. Officials said a case is considered infectious if it’s been 10 or fewer days since symptoms began.

Two people are in the hospital at this time.

More than 39,000 tests have been conducted.

Three people have died since the start of the pandemic.
