LCC student tests positive for COVID-19

The student has been attending classes remotely and will continue to do so.

EUGENE, Ore. – A Lane Community College student has tested positive for COVID-19, Lane County Public Health reported in the daily update Wednesday.

There are nine new cases in the county, bringing the total to 606 confirmed and presumptive cases.

Only 35 cases remain infectious, and two are hospitalized.

County officials said the student has been attending classes remotely and will continue to do so. Staff at the college are working with public health officials to address the situation.
