ALBANY, Ore. -- Linn-Benton Community College held their annual Career and Technical Education (CTE) signing day Wednesday.

Local high school seniors and those that have already graduated committed to a CTE program offered by the college.

“I was pretty excited, you know,” LBCC student Jacob Harden said. “It’s like now you know signing for this, and you know I’m gonna be making a difference. I just wanna thank all the people there in my life that kinda helped me pick a side. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do this or not and just decided I was gonna with the guidance.”

Students were called individually by the CTE program of their interest, signed their names and received a hat.
