Junction City resident killed in crash

There is no indication criminal behavior played a role, deputies say.

JUNCTION CITY, Ore. – A Junction City resident is dead after a two-vehicle crash Tuesday evening.

Police and Lane County deputies responded to Cox Butte Road near Oaklea Drive at about 6 p.m.

Investigation indicates Parker Post, 20, was stopped on the road in a disabled car without hazard lights on when the collision happened. Post died in the crash.

The other driver survived and is cooperating with the investigation, deputies say. There is no indication criminal behavior contributed to the crash.
