EUGENE, Ore. -- Hundreds of people took to the streets to march in Eugene's first ever PRIDE March Saturday.
The march, hosted by Eugene-Springfield Pride, began downtown at Spectrum and ended at Alton Baker Park for the annual Pride in the Park festival.
Leaders of the group say this is the first year they've had the personnel to step up and plan a march.
They also say they hope this is the first of many.
Pride in the Park goes from 11AM until 5PM Saturday at Alton Baker.
The festival recommends at $5 donation with proceeds going toward an LGBTQ+ scholarship fund.
