SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- Evacuees from the Holiday Farm fire are on the move again.

The latest version of the evacuation center will open Wednesday at 1489 Mohawk Boulevard in Springfield.

Organizers say families can get immediate relief items, such as food, clothes, school supplies, and other items.

“We want people to know that they can come here for immediate needs and long-term solutions to problems," Joshwa Martin, volunteer coordinator for LOVE First, said.

This is the fourth location for the evacuation center. It first opened at Thurston High School, then moved to Springfield High School, then the Masonic Lodge near Autzen Stadium.

Martin said volunteers are putting the finishing touches on the location. Between now and Wednesday, staffers are available to help with finding evacuees housing.

“This will be a site where donations will be accepted later on during the week," Martin said. "Our goal is Friday. There are donations that we could use right now in terms us non-perishable food.”
