Oregon's attorney general plans hate crime listening session in Eugene

Ellen Rosenblum will be joined by her task force on hate crimes, which she created to offer ways to strengthen the state's hate crime laws.

EUGENE, Ore. -- Oregon's Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum will hold a listening session in Eugene on Jan. 8 about hate crimes and discrimination.

It will be held at Harris Hall from 6 to 8 p.m.

She will be joined by her task force on hate crimes, which she created to offer ways to strengthen the state's hate crime laws.

People are encouraged to share stories about how they have been impacted by hate crimes, and it can be done anonymously.

There will also be listening sessions in Portland and Medford.
