HARRISBURG, Ore. – A student recently made a threat against Harrisburg High School, district officials said.
Parents and community members were notified of the threat on Wednesday.
In the notice posted on the district's website, the district explained that the school and local law enforcement investigated after they were made aware that a student had made a comment about possible violence.
Their investigation determined there was no credibility to the comment made by the student.
The Harrisburg School District said they take threats very seriously and parents can contact the high school if they have any questions.
