EUGENE, Ore. -- Gas prices in Eugene have risen $0.058/gallon in the past week, averaging $2.46/gallon according to GasBuddy.

While this is $0.05/gallon higher than last month, it is $0.484/gallon lower than the same time last year.

“For now, it's not the best news for motorists as I expect gas prices may continue their ascent, but while it won't last forever, it's likely a sign of what's to come in 2021 - higher prices,” said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis for GasBuddy.
