EUGENE, Ore. – Musgrove Family Mortuaries & Cemeteries in Eugene will be joining the Foundation Partners Group’s network, company officials announced.

All prearrangements with the Musgrove Family will be honored, they said.

All five business locations and the care center in the Eugene area will maintain the Musgrove name, and Mark and Jeff Musgrove will remain with the team.

“Even though we have chosen Foundation Partners for our transition, we are keenly aware that our name will remain the same at the funeral homes,” Jeff Musgrove said. “Therefore, it was imperative that we partner with a company committed to continuing our legacy of caring service to our community.”

Foundation Partners Group is a Florida-based company that says it focuses on providing innovative funeral and cemetery experiences and products.

Mark Musgrove said they heard from many people that Foundation Partners had a reputation as “people that care.”

The original funeral home was founded as Day and Henderson in 1883 in Eugene, company officials said. Wayne Musgrove joined the firm in 1952 and bought the mortuary in 1973. His two sons, Mark and Jeff, joined the business in the 80s. Over time, the company acquired many local funeral homes and cemeteries.
