Florence considers plastic bag ban

Thursday is the last day of an online survey to weigh in. The survey asks whether you support the city of Florence banning single-use plastic bags.

FLORENCE, Ore. - Should Florence ban single-use plastic bags? It's a question posed by the City of Florence Environmental Advisory Committee. 

Thursday, November 1st, is the last day for an online survey soliciting the community's input. 

After the results are compiled, they'll be presented to city council with a recommendation from the advisory committee.
