EUGENE, Ore. -- A fire displaced half a dozen residents and damaged an apartment building Monday morning.
Fire crews were dispatched to the apartment building, located between Mill Street and Ferry Alley, just before 2:30 a.m.



Investigators said the fire started in a dumpster and then spread to a wall and reached the second floor.
All residents evacuated and no injuries were reported.
The Red Cross was also on scene helping the residents.
As of 5:30 a.m. property management was working to clean and board up the damaged area.
It is unknown how much damage was caused by the fire or how long residents will be displaced for.
