ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Roseburg's Fourth of July fireworks show ignited a fire on Reservoir Hill Saturday night, but firefighters were prepared.
According to the Roseburg Hometown Fourth of July Committee, fire officials were aware that there was a high probability that the hill would catch fire. They said that there were no injuries, and that no structures or equipment were damaged.
They said that the Roseburg Fire Department and Douglas Forest Protective Association were prepared and responded quickly to contain it.

The fire was burning across the hillside for a little over an hour. It started before 10:00 p.m. and only a few flames were still visible by 11:00 p.m. and crews were still on scene.
