EUGENE, Ore.-- Some Holiday Farm Fire evacuees are being forced to leave their hotels by noon Thursday.

Evacuees at the Holiday Inn on Franklin Boulevard received a notice under their doors around 6:30 Wednesday evening saying they have to get out. Evacuees are being moved to Churchill High School but many are having reservations due to COVID-19.

The notice said there is a large event in Lane County and the hotel wants to honor prior reservations. However, KEZI cannot confirm what that large event is, but the Lane County Office of Emergency Management did confirm there are events happening in Lane County in the near future.

This is still a developing story. Stay with KEZI for the latest.
