DREW, Ore. -- The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has issued a level two evacuation notice in response to the South Umpqua Complex Fire.

The evacuation applies to residents between 1642 and 3200 Tison Road.

A level two, or “SET,” evacuation indicates there is significant danger to the area and residents should voluntarily relocate outside of the affected area. If choosing to remain, officials said residents should be ready to evacuate at a moment’s notice.

It is strongly recommended that residents in the proximity of the fire, even if not in the set evacuation area, be vigilant as conditions can change.

The sheriff's office is working in conjunction with South Umpqua Complex Fire officials.
