SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- A Eugene man has been arrested after allegedly breaking into a Springfield business early Monday morning.

Springfield police responded at 1:51 a.m. to a report of a burglary alarm at The Bow Rack Archery Shop on Q Street. When they arrived, they say the glass front entrance was broken out enough that someone could enter the building through it.

A police dog found Kevin Michael Nieto, 34, hiding in an office space and was taken into custody. No one else was located inside the building.

Nieto faces burglary and criminal mischief charges. He was out on supervised release for a separate burglary charge at the time of the arrest.
