EUGENE, Ore. – Employees at a Eugene business are upset that their windows were broken again.

The manager at 4 Corners Barber Shop said it’s the fourth time since September 2017 that it’s happened. The most recent hit was Monday.

People at a bar across the parking lot from the shop said a homeless man broke the windows.

The manager said she’s frustrated, especially since the owners of the building won’t pay for repairs. The most recent repairs will cost more than $500 per window.

“You lose revenue, of course, because you've got to take care of the broken glass, you've got to make the police reports and talk to the insurance people,” said manager Ava Swanson. “I'm here by myself, all I can do is close the door. I don't have anyone to cover for me. Sometimes I've just got to close the shop.”

Swanson said they’re the only business in the area that’s been targeted.
