Eugene, ORE. -- After the Emeralds received a stellar pitching performance on Friday it was the Hops that dominated on the mound in game two of the series as Hillsboro tops Eugene, 4-0.

Hillsboro's Marcus Tineo earned the win after throwing five scoreless innings while striking out five.

Eugene's Jake Slaughter was the only Emerald player with multiple hits going 2-4. Edmond Americaan also walked three times.

The Hops gave Tineo run support after scoring all four runs in the fourth through sixth innings. Two runs came in the fifth off RBI singles from Jesus Marriaga and Ryan January.

Both teams are now 1-1 going into the rubber match of the series set for 5;05 P.M. Sunday at PK Park.
