EUGENE, Ore. – Before graduating Friday high school seniors from Willamette and Kalapuya high schools got a warm goodbye from students and teachers at Danebo Elementary School on Thursday.
The seniors marched through the school with a live band and gave high fives to excited elementary students and administrators.

The elementary students also wrote signs for the seniors.
Teachers said they really like the idea of younger kids supporting the older students, seeing them head out into the world and celebrating their accomplishment.
The seniors that marched through the school will be graduating Friday at Willamette High School at 6:30 p.m.
