EUGENE, Ore. -- Dozens of people flocked to Kesey Square in Downtown Eugene Thursday afternoon for a tech tour.
The tour was organized by the Technology Association of Oregon and took people around to different tech companies in downtown.

"Tourist" Robert Fung said they were able to go to each business and literally get their foot in the door.
"It's good to know, even if they don't have a position with your talent, at least you can get your foot in, get your resume in, and they can keep it on file in case something does come up," Fung said. "Then they at least know the name, and if your resume comes in later, they know the face and they've spoken to you already. For me, this is a great idea."
The tour lasted for about three hours and wrapped up with an after party at Level Up.
