Lakeside robber threatens to 'stick' victim with knife

LAKESIDE, Ore. – The Coos County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who threatened someone with a knife while shoplifting at a store in Lakeside.

At about 3 p.m. on Saturday, deputies learned of a robbery at McKay’s Market, 200 S. 8th Street.

The victim told authorities he confronted a customer who was shoplifting, and the man threatened him with a knife. The man said he was going to “stick him” with his knife and raised it.

Deputies said the victim got away and called 911.
