Evenson said while looking through wedding pictures, she and her family noticed Starr with a bag that may have had their cards it. She said her friends and families immediately posted Starr’s face all over social media.

She said she doesn't expect to get their gifts back but is okay with that.

"This was about getting the word out there to future couples, or couples that have been taken advantage of and didn't know where to turn, didn't know what to do,” Evenson said. “We know he's not the only one. It happens all the time. We just wanted people to be aware of it."

Deputies said property stolen from one of the weddings July 28 has been returned to the victims.

Evenson said that she is glad she can put this all behind her and is ready to move forward with her family.
