SPRINGFIELD, Ore. -- Eugene Springfield Fire crews responded to a fire at International Paper in Springfield Tuesday morning around 7:50 a.m.
Officials said the fire started in an area that was used for recycling paper products when cardboard caught on fire. The company's sprinklers were able to control the fire.

When crews arrived, they finished extinguishing it. Currently, they are monitoring the scene to make sure it is controlled and to extinguish the smoke.
Officials have not been able to identify the cause of the fire or estimate how much damage was caused.
Officials said there were no reported injures.
