OREGON -- There are now 21 people in Oregon who have tested positive for novel coronavirus, the Oregon Health Authority said Wednesday.

The latest two cases are at a veteran's home in Lebanon. This is the first outbreak at a senior-style living center in Oregon. The cases involve men over the age of 80. They are considered to be community spread.

An Infection Control and Specimen Collection Strike Team will deploy to Linn County to assess the facility. Visiting restrictions are being put in place. 

Four other new cases were identified Wednesday morning, one each in Polk, Marion, Umatilla and Deschutes counties. None involved travel. The cases in Polk, Marion and Deschutes had no close contacts with confirmed cases. In Umatilla County, the individual was in contact with the county's first case.

Counties are working to identify and isolate those who were in close contact with the individuals in the past two weeks. 

Of the 21 cases, two have been confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The rest are considered presumptive.
