EUGENE, Ore. -- Great Grand Master Lee of U.S. TaeKwonDo College is sharing his memories of Connor Truax, 17, who was killed in a car crash Monday night.

Truax reportedly took taekwondo lessons at the facility for more than 10 years.

"Long story short, Connor was an outstanding young man," said Lee. "Outstanding martial artist. Also, great athlete in all different areas."

Lee said one of his favorite memories with Truax was going to South Korea with him and others from the TaeKwonDo facility.

"I have so many different good memories with Connor, especially the trip to Korea," said Lee. "His family is very sad. His mom is crying continuously. We'd like to support the family in all different ways."
