COOS BAY, Ore. -- The U.S. Coast Guard helped rescue three fishermen from their capsized boat late Tuesday evening.

The Coast Guard in North Bend said the three men were found inside their boat. They were cold but uninjured. At the time of the capsizing, waves were about 14 feet high at the entrance of Coos Bay. The Coast Guard believes one of the waves tipped the boat over.

The boat was found on the rocks of the north jetty in Coos Bay.

After the boat tipped over, the Coast Guard posted details about it on its Facebook page, saying that crews were looking for the fishermen near the entrance to Coos Bay.

The fishing vessel, the 38-foot Pacific Miner, was found by aircrews at the end of the jetty.
