CORVALLIS, Ore. -- You're not the only one hanging onto every second of the last season of the Game of Thrones. The person who runs the city of Corvallis' twitter account was so enthralled, they accidentally tweeted on the wrong account.

A post went up Monday night, saying: "People fussing about the non-redemptive story arc of a character literally nicknamed the Kingslayer is rich. The signs were there. For everyone. These people turned out to be exactly what they told us they would be. I frickin love it."

Even Senator Sara Gelser weighed in, replying: "I love it that the City of Corvallis is a GOT (Game of Thrones) follower. That's why I love my city!"

Patrick Rollins is the public information officer for the city. He said he accidentally tweeted from the wrong account before he went to bed and was mortified when he woke up the next morning and realized what he did. He said he immediately called his boss, who like everyone else, had a good sense of humor about it.

The original tweet eventually came down and was replaced with one that said: "Did you catch our #GameofThrones tweet misfire last night? It's true -- there's a human being behind this account and sometimes the wires get crossed. Thanks for allowing us a goof here and there. All in good fun!"

Another tweet showed up that said: "We now return you to your regularly scheduled #Corvallis tweets."
