Coos County Car Coalition plans child safety seat clinic

The Coos County Car Coalition will be offering free car seat inspections and education to parents and caregivers on February 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

COOS BAY, Ore. -- The Coos County Car Coalition will be offering free car seat inspections and education to parents and caregivers on Feb. 9 from 10 a.m. to noon.

This will take place at the Coos Bay Fire Department located at 450 Elrod Ave.

The coalition is made up of firefighters, police officers, ODOT employees and hospital staff.

This highly trained group will help to make sure your car seat is properly installed and appropriate for your child specifically.

Remember you must bring your own car, child and car seat to one of the clinics.
