ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Casey’s Restaurant in Roseburg is appealing their $14,000 fine from OSHA for violating the governor’s executive order.
According to documents from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the owners also requested an informal conference in hopes of negotiating a settlement.
The appeal was filed on June 3.
Officials said the owners had 30 days to file from the date they were cited, which was on May 14.
In May, the owners set up a GoFundMe account to pay their legal fees as they fought the citation.
Within days, they raised more than $13,000 from 186 donors.
