EUGENE, Ore. – Coffee stands and food carts in Eugene are being targeted by one or more burglars, and detectives are looking for tips to solve the case.

Investigators said over the past few months, these types of businesses have been broken into and have seen their cash registers stolen.

The community engagement team has been working to notify food cart owners over the past few weeks, police said, but the crimes have continued, which is why detectives are now reaching out to the public.

If you see anything suspicious around a coffee cart or food trailer that indicates a crime is happening or about to happen, police ask that you call 911.

Anyone who has their business broken into should report it to detectives immediately. Additional burglaries may not have been reported to police, they added.
