Bullet flies through Sweet Home apartments in shooting

Police said Casa De Reyes was hit by bullets, along with one Starlite Apartments building.

SWEET HOME, Ore. – A shooting in Sweet Home overnight Tuesday sent bullets flying into multiple buildings with one passing through two apartments.

While there were people in the apartments at the time of the shooting, no one was injured, according to Sweet Home police.

The reports started rolling in before 1 a.m., and officers responded to the 2400 block of Main Street.

Police said the restaurant Casa de Reyes was hit by bullets, along with one Starlite Apartments building. The bullet that hit the apartment complex reportedly went through the front door of an apartment, hit a wall and went into the next apartment.

Witnesses told officers they saw a dark-colored hatchback leaving the area.
