  • Facility targeted to be build by December.
  • Citizens may email or mail comments to OLCC.

After that, the executive director will review the comments and will approve or deny the new center by November 2.

"It's obviously a really populated area and people have really gotten onboard with this bottle drop concept. It's so much more convenient, it's easier, we have several different options we give people so there's definitely been demand for it," said Cherilyn Bertges, public relations manager.

The center will have people on staff to sort the deposits and residents will be able to deposit up to 350 bottles a day. The facility will also take overnight drops offs.

OLCC hopes to have the center built by December if approved.
