Deputies identify body pulled out of Willamette River

No foul play is suspected at this time.

EUGENE, Ore. – Investigators have identified a body pulled out of the Willamette River near the Owosso Bridge on Friday, April 10th.

The Lane County Sheriff’s Office said the dead man is Odin E. Van Norman Erickson, 33, of Eugene.  They said nothing indicates foul play.

The medical examiner will determine a cause of death.

The body was spotted in the water and reported to authorities just before noon.
