COOS BAY, Ore. -- Two employees at Bay Area Hospital have tested positive for coronavirus, hospital officials announced Monday.

Both traveled out of state where they reported coming into contact with a family member who later tested positive.

The two are recovering at home. One is continuing to work from home, and the other will return following quarantine.

"With the increase in infection control precautions put into place with the hospital COVID-19 response, there is no reason to believe that any patients were exposed to the virus through contact with either employee," the statement says.
