JUNCTION CITY, Ore. – Bi-Mart and Saint Vincent de Paul are spreading holiday cheer to those who need it most in the community.

They handed out gifts, food and rain boots Wednesday at Alona Place, an affordable housing complex in Junction City.

“It's one of those things where I know the kids have a good time and it's just as meaningful for all of us,” said Rich Truett, CEO of Bi-Mart.

Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus also showed up to take pictures with kids.

“It has been fun,” said Kimberly Scott, who lives at Alona Place. “We've got a snowman, reindeer and Santa Claus.”

Alona Place is one of Saint Vincent de Paul’s newest affordable housing complexes for families in the area.
